Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba on Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Then she moved to Miami with her family at the age of 2 following her move from Havana. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish programming to be nominated for an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award, and was ranked in 2015 as the number one Spanish-language program on the air at 4pm in the key demos. Polo was born on April 11th, 1959 in Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Science. She then earned the PhD in law at the University of Miami. For 20 years, Polo worked in Miami. Then, after earning her PhD from University of Miami in law and practicing law in Miami city for 20 years. Polo first appeared on television in 2001 with Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. She also participated in show on the court that utilized her experience. Literature Awards She wrote Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel was awarded the Critic's Award, as well as it was also awarded the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain for the United States in 1960. Polo was the breast cancer survivor often raises funds for this cause and speaks at events.
